Confirmed from Whip Hill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Whip Hill Park
“Beautiful place to hike and walk through!”
“Peaceful & well maintained!”
Great short trails surrounded by roads, making it hard to get lost for long.
Beautiful tranquil place to walk & hike. Dogs must be on a leash-as I have found, a lot of people let their dogs off leash here to run around and it's against the regulations for safety reasons. We do occasionally see wild animal as it is the Woods.
Really nice park with clear, we'll run through trails, which still make you feel like you're far from the city. Lovely park, and very easy to find and get to. No cross walk to get into park, so if you can, drive in and park at the parking lot.
This is a wonderful place to go for short hikes - or long ones that venture into the Fellsway.

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
