Riverside glamping at its finest. Full hookup RV sites to heated yurts, to raw cowboy camping, this place has it! A disc golf course rated 8th in the nation and 32nd in the world, along with tubing, fishing, boating, hiking, pavilions for parties, and a day use playground, this place rocks...
So glad I got a chance to play this one. Did the classic 18. Great design, beautiful landscape, well maintained, it's really solid concrete tee pads that are wide. A real variety of shots and elevation changes. Also risk reward with the hills and the river.
My wife and I have had great experiences at county parks and this one under scored that. In a Sunday and Monday night in September there was only one other camper in the lower loop. Our spot by the Umpqua River was peaceful and a lovely view. Our van has solar so no hookups or noisy generator needed.
I was only here for the disc golf course so I cannot say anything about the campground but this place is amazing! This 27 hole disc golf course runs up and around the Umpqua river. So many picturesque holes, especially the "top of the world" shot...hole #17 I believe.
