Many different trails to choose from. Watch out for ticks during the summer months!
Trail is a road. Uphill is not too difficult. Halfway up, you get great valley views. We met a few horseback riders, which made the trail tight(little room). Also, I saw one hunter(hunting is allowed there).The parking lot had car eating potholes in it.
Really nice uphill hike. Beautiful park and clean restroom. It was foggy the day we went so I'm excited to get back there on a sunny morning.
Absolutely recommend this spot. There are many trails, but we took the Chasm Creek-Blacktail Ridge loop. The Chasm Creek section was gorgeous, and the creek is indeed a 10ft chasm in most places, so keep kids and dogs on the trail if you want an optimal amount of bones intact.
