Confirmed from White Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space with walking/hiking trails, a duck pond and a playground.
What runners say about White Park
“Nice simple and clean place with a huge field that's great to just run around in with lovely paved trails as well.”
Nice spot to walk some trails with or without the pets...🐕🐩🍀🌿🌾🌱...playground nearby for the kids to jump and roam...Pavillion to get a rest out of the 🌞
A nice little trail. If you want a walk that isn't too long this is the place. If you park in the lot close to the main drag where the school is right in front, you can take one of two paths.
We had driven past the park many times and had watched while they made a walking path. We had a nice day so decided to go to the park and walk to see what all was there. Found out that there was a pond back in a ways.
Nice simple and clean place with a huge field that's great to just run around in with lovely paved trails as well.
Trail conditions & character
“We had started in the parking lot at the park on Lake Lansing road next to the school and walked from there.”
“As you head down from the lot, left goes along a paved path that comes to a split but going right leads to a duck pond and fishing pier.”
“Go past the pier and keep taking lefts and you'll end up doing a short loop.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
