Confirmed from Clippert St Trailhead - Lansing River Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Clippert St Trailhead - Lansing River Trail
Great place to access the river trail for a run or bike ride into MSU campus. Also, good spot to jump on the trail system and connect to Crego park and Potter Park Zoo. In the spring time expect some flooding near the river but is still passable by taking the upper trail along the road.
This wasn't exactly the kind of path we were looking for. We were coming in from out of town, and wanted to hike through the woods. This was a paved path that connects the MSU campus with other areas, and runs alongside the highway for a while.
This is a great walk around the river although parks of it were under construction, you can still get around it quite easily
Nice place for a walk, jog or bike, but the further you go towards Aurelius, the trail gets alittle rough. It needs to be repaved.
