Confirmed from White Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This 170-acre park features an ice arena, baseball & softball fields & miles of hiking trails.
What runners say about White Park
“The other trails are also nice and well-maintained.”
“I can't believe I've lived in the Morgantown area for 13 years and I never knew about this beautiful park!”
A nice place for a hike, not many options around other than baseball fields border of the park. Park you car near the sign that looks like there’s map (😅 there’s no map). Enter the path on the opposite side and walk about 10 minutes to the Waterfalls. There’s a steep path towards fall, must be careful.
Excellent city park. Beautiful wide trails with limestone surfaces meandering through the woods. Nice area with water falls in the area somewhat near the car dealerships. Lots of rec facilities like baseball fields and basketball courts in central area of park.
I can't believe I've lived in the Morgantown area for 13 years and I never knew about this beautiful park! There are miles of hiking and walking trails, waterfalls, picnic areas and more!
One of my favorite local parks since I was a child. When my siblings and I were young children, our dad would gather us for a hike, at the "tank field" which is now White Park. White Park used to house huge oil tanks, some of which were still there when I was a child.
