Confirmed from Wild Iris Ridge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Easy to do in 30 minutes if you are looking for a easy hike with spurts of moderate inclined.”

Before going to this place, I read some reviews that mentioned many uphill sections, but the inclines were not worrisome at all, and it wasn't continuously uphill, so beginners would have no issues if they don't rush. The trail was well-maintained. Hiking with my five dogs was hectic but enjoyable.

Limited parking at the lower lot, car was broken into recently despite it being on a busy road. The trail itself is pretty and you can take the steeper section up or a more meandering main trail up. Plenty of critters and pretty flowers in the spring as well.

★★★★☆ — David , Jun 2023

Nice hike. Roughly 1.5 miles to the top and bottom. Easy to do in 30 minutes if you are looking for a easy hike with spurts of moderate inclined. I recommend going in early in the day or evening as there are large portions without protection from the sun.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
