Confirmed from Wildcat Creek Reservoir Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground, picnic areas, and trails, plus fishing and kayaking.
What runners say about Wildcat Creek Reservoir Park
“The park was clean, well groomed and there was a smaller parking lot that maybe had space for 10 cars that was separate from the larger one on the other wide of the reservoir.”
“Beautiful area for pictures, especially when the water is low.”
“Very clean, quiet, and plenty of space for the kids and or dogs to run and play.”
Very clean, quiet, and plenty of space for the kids and or dogs to run and play. Bring your fishing pole. Their is a pier for fishing, or use almost any of the 3+ miles of coastline. Don't forget a spillway exist on 400E just South of the boat ramp.
Great place to take in nature. Go fishing, walk the trails. Just sit in the grass and enjoy the scenery.
When we first got there, it didn't look great. The boys said one star. The playground is rusty and needs painted. The boys loved it anyways. Then they explored a trail along the water and found frogs and sticks. There was a covered picnic area and a few fisherman.
Great place to just sit and relax. Family BBQs, fishing, and plenty of nature walks. Great spot to put in a kayak or canoe. Very peaceful.
