Confirmed from Wildlands Trust - Hoyt-Hall Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Beautiful nonetheless and you’ll get a work out.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“Usually wouldn't leave a review because there's not much parking and it's my favorite place to go for piece and quiet but I guess that's fair enough to share.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Easy hike 🚶‍♀️👌 30 minutes for the loop”

Spectacular trail system. I remember walking these trails and more over 35+ years ago before they built housing developments in much of the area I walked through. Sad about the development but happy they saved at least some of the trail system.

Only 2-3 parking spots. And it is a hiking trail not a walking trail. Very hill. Probably not ideal for elderly or small children. Beautiful nonetheless and you’ll get a work out. Didn’t hike too far due to the terrain and snow. Across from a lake/pond.

Aweso.e place to go for a hike. Usually wouldn't leave a review because there's not much parking and it's my favorite place to go for piece and quiet but I guess that's fair enough to share. This time of year especially

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
