Confirmed from William & Barbara Hacker Wildlife Sanctuary & Town Island Pond Conservation Land Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about William & Barbara Hacker Wildlife Sanctuary & Town Island Pond Conservation Land Trail Head
Beautiful spot, wide trails, fairly well marked. A few missing arrows, however, so a hike may be longer than you think.I'm good at land navigation, but the Cape Cod terrain and scrub trees can look the same.
Our first walk on this trail and definitely not our last. Double loop. We'll marked. Easy walking with a few inclines and declines. Very serene.
Once I was away from the industrial area, this was a quite pleasant walk through the woods.
Trail conditions & character
“Get the map, orient the sun, and keep the lake to your left or right depending on which way you take the loop and side trails.”
