A very large park with so much to do. Rock gardens are awesome, greenery is awesome there. Sad to see how many trees have gotten damaged in storms we've had lately but VERY impressed with how quickly maintenance staff had been on top of the clean up. They take really good care of this wonderful landmark of Sacramento.
I recently visited William Land Regional Park, also known as the Lily Pond, and it truly is a hidden oasis in Sacramento. Having been to Sacramento hundreds of times, this was my first visit—and I’m so glad I finally came.
This was my first visit to the park with friend ,and it turned out to be a delightful experience. We strolled along a scenic three-mile path, surrounded by the vibrant colors of spring as flowers bloomed and trees swayed gently in the breeze.
Tree-filled city park with a golf course, ponds full of geese, and barbecue areas with tables. I enjoyed walking in the shade along 13th Avenue, which has nice architecture homes. Nearby attractions: Zoo, Fairytale Town.
