We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of William S. Moss Park at Mossdale Landing yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (18 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“But this park is so nice and clean and has a nice seating area so I could not justify taking off the star.”

Beautiful and big park have a really nice upgraded playground for the kids and have a physical exercise equipment. With a really big open, spill to walk and run your dog.

★★★★★ — Naveed , May 2025

Wonderful park with a play structure for big kids and a smaller one for smaller kids. I love that it has the soft squishy ground instead of bark or sand because I can let my little ones walk around freely. I almost took a star off because there is no swing set and my daughter really loves the swings.

★★★★★ — Aleta , May 2025

Great park, has a pirate ship, big winding slide and you can walk around the park which also has those exercise stations. We all had a good time here today

★★★★★ — Enriqueta , Feb 2023

A great little park. No bathroom but the structures are very cool for kids. A lot of grass as well for running around.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚰 Water fountains

“Absolutely fantastic playground with 3 different play structures (including a ton of slides and a pirate ship, woohoo), picnic tables, a water fountain, and a huge lawn.”
