Confirmed from Willow Park on the Whitewater's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Willow Park on the Whitewater

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (74 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“Beautiful park, quiet and clean, lots of water access for swimming, fishing and boating!”

Willow park is small and secluded, but has a nice setting with viewing points along the river. There are also benches, picnic tables, and walking trails. It would be a nice place for a family picnic or reunion.

★★★★☆ — D , Aug 2017

This is a beautiful park with an excellent view of the Whitewater River. There are walking trails here that are paved and flat, which makes for an easy walk. There are also benches throughout the park, allowing for sitting breaks and quick lunches.

★★★★★ — Chloe , Aug 2024

This place is a great summer spot to swim, fish, or just walk the river. They also have an ATV park for designated hours. This little gem hides in Harrison right across the street from JTM.

Small but really nice . Bench along river path. Trial is partly gravel and in the summer the have dirt bike or off road course

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“The park isn't huge and the parking lot reflects that, so if the park is busy, you may run out of parking.”
