Confirmed from Wilshire Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

★★★★★ — Bob , Jul 2017

Peaceful park with picnic tables, a potty, playground, small paved walking trail, and lots of shade. The equipment was unique and a couple of pieces accessible for multiple abilities. Great little gem tucked in the middle of liberty.

★★★★★ — Andrea , Aug 2022

Great simple park. Not new by any means, but it has loads of shade trees. On a warm/hot sunny afternoon, we only saw patches of sun in the park (high 80's with humidity, felt quite comfortable with the shade).

★★★★☆ — Doug , Aug 2020

This place was perfect while we waited on dad at practice. Shaded, plenty of space for roaming but also a nice little trail to entertain young children with a bike, stroller or walking.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“They also had a cool space build around the porta potty which made it feel less messy and scary (we have a daughter scared of spiders).”
