Lots of parking, nice paved walkway and small riverfront beach to walk for a bit before trees cover the majority of walkable area. There’s a path that leads back onto the paved pathway with a few picnic tables along the route.
Big parking lot but not a "park" as you'd think. There's a boat launch area and the CT River is right there along with Bissell Bridge. The river trail starts here. No one was here when I stopped by. Very peaceful and pretty.
Well it's definitely a state park which I didn't know was there from what I seen. It's only one trail but it's it's a nice walk on the trail. It's a couple places you can stop and sit down I didn't didn't recall seeing any grills. Like I said it is a nice walk down the trail.
It's nice to go to the river. But Windsor police kick all kinds of white people out if your not beating or fishing you cant hang out cant walk your dog. Tell us why the town put in a real nice walkway along the river if the RESIDENTS of windsor cant use them oh yes their also is a bike path over the river I was told…
