Confirmed from Winnakee Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Winnakee Nature Preserve

“Nice easy hike for some exercise, nothing strenuous.”
Very nice and easy trail!!! There are few different trails, they are all easy and beautiful. Perfect hike for senior adults, kids and whomever wants to take it easy!!
There are two entrances, parking at both. Check map. Nice easy hike for some exercise, nothing strenuous. The red loop was pretty easy in snow and you can make your hike longer by going on the other trails and back to red.
Parking is behind the florist shop. The trails are generally in good shape. There can be mud but most trails were took were in good shape. Make sure to look out for the trail markers to listen to the history lesson!
This place has 4 different trails . 2 small parking lots . The trails are mostly leveled ground, but there's plenty of rocks and tree roots which can make it easy to trip so be aware .
