Confirmed from Winslow Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Winslow Park
“As a professional dog walker working in Fairfield, I find this is the only designated park I enjoy taking both my own dogs and my clients dogs.”
As a professional dog walker working in Fairfield, I find this is the only designated park I enjoy taking both my own dogs and my clients dogs. There is plenty of “open space” within the park creating a feeling of freedom to pets that cannot be replicated in a simple fenced in area.
Very busy day at the doggie park! One of the warmest days so far and it brought put many! Love bringing The Boys there to romp and run ... They always like walking into the stream for a quick drink ...
My dog loves it here. Lots of people gather for off leash playtime and trail walking. Everyone has been friendly so far and the dogs have been well behaved. The park is huge with lots of trails. It feels safe to have my dog off leash which is nice. There's good coffee nearby at the Granola bar and plenty of parking.
A really lovely wooded off-leash area. My dog loved exploring all the trails and the stream was welcome for a cool-off and long drink. Although it isn't fenced in completely, there are enough natural and human made barriers that I felt my dog was safe, even without perfect recall.
Trail conditions & character
“This park is awesome, massive open space for even the most active dogs to unleash their energy and enjoy a game of fetch with balls or frisbees.”
“Little creek in the back if dogs want a drink plus a water fountain for dogs in the warm season.”
“This park has both wooded hiking trails as well as a central area for dogs to socialize and play yet not feel trapped within a small space.”
