My family and I enjoyed the beautiful scenery here. Good history at this location and great details of the Battle of Franklin and Nashville. The trail is about a 3/4 of a mile and you can many folks here with dogs, scooters, or running. I can definitely see this as a picnic area as well.

Lovely place for a 3/4-mile walk through the woods. Civil War interpretive signs help explain the significance of the site in the Battle of Franklin. The squirrels everywhere were about the only companions I had this September evening. I'd love to come here again.
Historical war memorial that most people don't even know is here. Easy parking and walking. Well marked and informative.
