Confirmed from Wiseburn Walking Path's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great neighborhood walk eastside of the 405. It's newish and plants/trees have died or disappeared in the night - as have solor path lights - but it's in better shape than the park/path on the westside of the frwy path sorely needed repairs lots of damaged lighting out there

★★★★☆ — Scott , Feb 2021

Nice path along a strip of land between the street and the 405 freeway. Freeway walls keep it quiet. There are exercise equipment and doggie bag dispensers along the way. It's well lit at night.

★★★★☆ — David , Dec 2020

★★★★★ — Eddie , Jan 2024

A peaceful paved path ideal for morning strolls or dog walks. The landscaping is tidy, and it feels safe even during weekday early hours. Friendly nods from neighbors make it community feel. Great spot to unwind with a podcast or just breathe. Loving the neighborhood charm.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

Plan your run at Wiseburn Walking Path

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
