“I really gotta say this little spot is BEAUTIFUL!”

This hidden reservoir is a diamond in the rough. We located the Kayak launch but it's not marked, and is easy to miss. There is an opening in the brush on the side of the road and after you start down the path you can see a big tree with water behind it.

Community efforts have cleaned up the area recently, but there's still occasional broken glass. As well, some people fish down in that area, so it's possible somebody could've left a lure or hook out. Footwear is necessary. Beautiful area, the lake is lovely.

Definitely a nice quiet & relaxing place. Looks a lot nicer place than it used to be. Looking forward to seeing what it's going to look like when all of the hiking trails are done being made..
