Nice short little trail. I wish it was longer and there were more ways to explore the wixom habitat and the surrounding area. Wooden bridges lead you over marsh like waters and bring you to a scenic outlook over the lake.
Quiet place at 230PM... saw a deer across the pond, a maintained trail with a boardwalk... be with nature close to home! Maybe some mosquito repellent... but I didn't need any during the middle of the day.
Perfect way to try babee's new stroller/trike. Trail was well maintained & chock full of wild life. Beautiful lake at the end of main walkway! 🐿 🐦 🌼 🌞
A lot of mosquitoes out, use your bug spray before starting your hike. Pretty scenery. Short and easy walk
