Confirmed from Wolcott Mill Metro Park - North Branch Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Wolcott Mill Metro Park - North Branch Trails
“Other than that it's a beautiful place to be outside for a walk or bike ride or even 🛼 roller blades.”
Very nice winding trails on a small parcel of park land with bridges, benches, and various wildlife abound. Could be nice to take a lap on a bike, or just wander around getting your steps in.
There are few places as quietly remarkable as Wolcott Mill MetroPark, especially when autumn arrives. The trails here offer a perfect blend of open meadows and tranquil forest paths alongside the North Branch of the Clinton River.
Quite trail with no entrance fee. Cute winding paths and several small bridges. Dogs allowed.
This is the shut down golf course. It's a little run down now and desperately needs a good mowing. Other than that it's a beautiful place to be outside for a walk or bike ride or even 🛼 roller blades. It is very peaceful . It also does have two porta potties.
Trail conditions & character
“Fair warning: taking a walk on the paved trails at Wolcott Mill Metro Park will slightly (or significantly!”

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.

- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
