We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Wolf Creek south trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Wolf Creek south trailhead
“Otherwise was lovely beautiful fun to walk without the density of most forests so I felt safe hiking alone here.”
Beautiful trail, a good trail for beginners and can offer some challenges for more experienced hikers.
Good trail. Many options for those that can either walk only a little bit or a lot. Couple of cool sightings too.
Oh sleepy hollow trail, were you ever going to loop around and take me back to my car? I walk slow but going off a reviewers info this head has only one trail that's 3.6miles long. Going off a 16 min mile I should have seen signs it was taking me back to my car but nope, didn't happen.
