Confirmed from Wolf Run Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Open park featuring fenced dog runs, shady trails, a storybook trail and picnic areas.
What runners say about Wolf Run Regional Park
“Unfortunately, some dog owners don’t clean up after their dogs, so watch your step.”
“They also offer scenic views of the surrounding area.”
“Keep in mind that these trails are both shaded and open to direct sun, so make sure to bring shades, hats, and/or sunscreen.”
One of the best places in town if you're looking for a great nature escape. Very great trails and plenty of them!
Wolfs Run Park is an under-appreciated collection of trails, sights, and water features. With mostly smooth trails, I have found the inclines to be the biggest challenge, if any. The trails this park offers are full of lush greenery, plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife, and handsome trees.
Thr story book trail is a blast! My kids were running to read the next page! This park has something to offer for the entire family. Nice wide trails that aren't too challenging but they get your blood pumping! Many picnic tables throughout the park for a picnic in warm weather.
I like the trails. There is a pond in the woods with a dock and fish. The storybook trail is very nice for kids.
Trail conditions & character
“Also appreciated that the dog area was fenced in so I could walk in the trails while the dogs were in their own area.”
“Overlook wasn't as impressive as some of the views from the edge of the park back the other direction.”
“There is a porta potty for restroom use and shaded picnic tables.”
“Keep in mind that these trails are both shaded and open to direct sun, so make sure to bring shades, hats, and/or sunscreen.”
“Nice little dog park at the entrance of the trials, plentiful parking, and secluded area.”
