Great place for a pleasurable nature walk on paved road. Especially in the summer to avoid the bugs on the trails. This place is large with substantial parking, as well as miles on miles of walking that makes repeat trips back necessary
I was just there last week for four days. We had a huge campsite. Loved the space of the site. The people at the office were very nice and very helpful, as well the rangers. We had such a great time there. Tons of trails to go bike riding. We will definitely be going back soon.
Wapatuck State Park is a great resource on the South Shore. We like to hike and bike. Biking trails are not always smooth, but everything is well signed and it's great to explore.
