Billy & I love hiking in Thayer Woods, saying hi to the cows, pigs & geese, and enjoying the hilltop views while playing frisbee in the spacious grassy knoll (next to the Trustees parking lot)
Great views and trails the Weir River Farm is a great destination for walking around. The barn yard is great for kids. There is a meat sale once a week which features pork, chicken and beef raised at the farm. There are also fresh eggs for down by the barn, cash only.
We very much enjoyed the Thursday night sunset picnic! Live music, food truck, drinks, farm store, cows, enclosed space for kids to run around, gorgeous views. What’s not to like!
An idyllic farm with animals and beautifully manicured paths and views of the Boston skyline. A great place to visit!
