This place is absolutely lovely for a walk. The walking paths are all paved, so it’s a good place for people looking for places to walk, but necessarily can’t get out on a trail or want a safer place than along the side of a road.
Large sports park with playground. Plenty of benches and porta potty's. Nicely maintained with a paved walking path. If you are looking for wooded trails, this is not for you. Walked the entire park 1.6miles in about 48 minutes. Recommend.
Really nice and clean park. There is plenty of parking and a great place to walk your dog or go for a gentle walk yourself. The athletic fields, soccer and baseball, are in decent enough condition. Views are decent and there is a nice river that runs along the outside. I dont know if it is stocked for fishing.
After visiting high point state park, we wanted a park for kids to play. This park is huge,has swings & other play stuff for young kids. There's a soccer & football field for older kids. There seems to be a trail & lot of parking. Good spot for picnic. Adults could relax. There are lot of benches to relax.
