Confirmed from Woodland Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

They're in the middle of constructing new covered picnic areas at the moment but still a nice place to take kids to the playground, shoot hoops, walk in nature by the ponds, or play disc golf.

★★★★★ — Chad , May 2023

Beautiful park but no shade on any of the playgrounds. Great for walking and hiking and lots of different playgrounds but all super hot and not good for babies.

★★★★☆ — Sandy , Jul 2020

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“Only downside is that there’s lots of birds doing bird things, so if you take a hungry dog, keep an eye on what they might try to eat.”

  • At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
