Confirmed from Woodlands Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Outdoor spot, primarily for soccer, has grass fields, short hiking trails and a stream.
What runners say about Woodlands Park
This is a public park! It is owned by Cherokee County and is in the workers to be part of the trail system. But there is not much to do.
This is a very simple park. A few soccer fields and a great trail that winds quietly through the woods by a small stream. I like to go here with my dog and toddler to hike for a while. There are only outhouses as far as amenities and the trails branch off from the edge of the soccer field.
Small soccer field in a residential neighborhood. Plenty of parking and follow the trail down to the field. If it rained it's going to be a SWAMP! Be sure to wear boots you don't care about because it's like a marsh getting to the seating area (sidelines) even with several days of warm sun.
This is mainly a soccer park with some walking trails. Be aware that there is no restroom (there is a porta potty) and parking is limited during practices and games.
