Confirmed from Woodmere Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring basketball and tennis courts, as well as a playground and walking trail.
What runners say about Woodmere Park
“Decent, clean park located off Jacaranda in South Venice.”
Loved our walk here. Great trail along Alligator creek, approximately 2.75 miles loop. Great dog park and play scape. Definitely coming back. Dog friendly
It’s the best park in Venice! Nice scenery and has the best nature trails you can get. I recommend anyone to go here!
My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed going to this park. She is not the best with other dogs so they are trails and more secluded areas I can walk her and not have to worry about anything. We both really enjoy this park there's a lot to do there just about any activity you can think of it can happen.
Great park for walking, playing basketball and pickle ball. There is a dog park as well for small and big dogs, which I don’t recommend.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
