Confirmed from Woodway Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Excellent park! We came for the Total Solar Eclipse and had a wonderful time! The park is beautiful! My kids had so much to do and had so much fun. The Park was full of car's but we still had plenty of space to run around and play. The park organizer gave out little toys and Frisbee making it even better.

Great mountain bike / hiking trails nestled in this little park. The trails are short and it's difficult to get a ton of miles in but, they are really nice. Very scenic with the lake right there.

★★★★★ — Eric , Apr 2022

Well preserved community park located on the outskirts of the Waco. Ample parking space with wheelchair accessible parking available next to the shore. The entrance and the route is marked with one-way so ensure you enter/exit in the correct path. Good place to relax and take your dog for a walk.

★★★★★ — Deepak , May 2023

Good park plenty of events. I go for the bike trails, lines are well covered (trees) and declines can get fast and the climbs are a workout so be ready to give your best. All and all I gave 4 stars. (Not for the faint of heart)

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
