Confirmed from Poage Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Poage Park
“The Park was clean and the covered patio was large and plenty of room for the kids to play.”
“Parking was easy to find, but I noticed most spots didn’t have much shade, so if you’re hoping to keep your car cool, that might be a bit of a downside.”
“Nice quiet place to sit and read or walk and also if you have kiddos it's a great place for them with the playground.”
“Overall, it felt peaceful and family-friendly, a perfect spot for downtime without feeling busy or overwhelming.”
Beautiful shaded park with big trees. Love how this park is shaded, that helps a lot during summer season. There is plenty of playing and sitting area. Located off of Highway 84, it's east to see and access from the road.
This park is very fun for kids of all ages. They have a small playground and swing set good for kids 1-3. The bigger playground has different equipment good for kids 3-10. There is also a larger swing set and a merry-go-round.
Good park for the family! Usually quiet. Lots of room to move around and playground equipment in good condition. Good place to drop a family member off with some little ones to run errands. I'd consider it safer than most other parks. You should check it out!
