Confirmed from Wright's Pond Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean park featuring a sandy beach, a pond, picnic tables, playgrounds and walking trails.
What runners say about Wright's Pond Park
“For city residents only; so the access is restricted: so can't always take family friends with you, but the pond itself is nice/clean.”
“Has all the amenities- food, shade, playground, beach area, grass, beautiful walking trails, parking, life guards, and spacious!”
Take my Grand babes there every summer. They love it! I've been going for 8 years now. Wouldnt/couldnt, miss a season. I even go in the off season with my dogs & walk the perimeter. Great hike!
The swimming area near the the front parking lot is overrun with kids. And you have to be a resident of Medford to use the parking lot and the front of the pond with the lifeguard and the lovely , all-terrain wet wheelchairs. But you can probably get in to walk around the pond and even swim on the far side of the pond.
Hidden gem of the neighborhood! Has all the amenities- food, shade, playground, beach area, grass, beautiful walking trails, parking, life guards, and spacious! Perfect for your family, or for you and your doggy. Dogs not allowed on the beach though during the summer.
Good trails and good views. If going on a longer hike, there are nice decent size rocks where you can sit and take a break. Vies of the lake is great! There are bike trails as well for the bike lovers.
