We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Yahara River Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Yahara River Trail
A very peaceful stretch to leisurely walk, run, bike or blade through a bit of nature. The trail is paved and offers views of Stoughton Bay as well as several informational placards and scattered benches to rest or bird watch.
Nice unpaved trail, mostly in the woods. Good place to run, walk, bike, or walk the dog. Lots of water birds.
Great walking trail in Stoughton that does not get as much use as it should.
