Confirmed from Yanney Heritage Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This large recreation area offers a lake with boat rentals, trails, a lookout tower & play areas.

“I just can't say how Beautiful and well kept this place is.”
“One Word: GORGEOUS 😍 ❤️ This is a beautiful park that has a little bit of everything.”
“Yanney Heritage Park, Kearney, NE Yanney Heritage Park is one of Kearney’s true gems — a peaceful, beautifully maintained space that brings together nature, family, and community.”
It's a really large park with a massive lookout tower. There appears to be several pavilions. This park has a number of water fountains along the path yet during the middle of April they were not currently on. There appears to be several modern playgrounds.
One Word: GORGEOUS 😍 ❤️ This is a beautiful park that has a little bit of everything. A must see if you're passing through this city. I'm super glad we stopped and walked it. Lots of walking paths, ponds, a tower to walk up, flower gardens, outdoor fitness center, and so much more!
We stumbled upon Yanney Heritage Park by seeing a sign that piqued our curiosity. Googled for directions, found it, and enjoyed a great walk, a climb to the top of the tower, and enjoyed the sculptures and art - including a massive Chihuly tree!
Loved the tower and there are a lot of places to have a picnic. Dog friendly kid friendly it has a pond to fish in. Has mute swans. Has walking and bike trails that are all sidewalks.
