This is an awesome "Oasis" located on the High Trestle Trail in Ankeny. Located at the intersection of the trail and Irvinedale Drive, this Oasis is a good stopping point for people walking, jogging, or riding their bikes on the trail. The building just opened around the 1st of June.
The Yellow Oasis & Trailhead on High Trestle Trail is about two miles from the Ankeny Pavillion (Uptown area), and it is a fun stop that can be used many ways. Picnic tables, a two-seat porch swing, bicycle repair station, a clean restroom, and some great art. You could also park here and go on a walk, run, or bike.
