Confirmed from Young Patriots Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park featuring a pond and playground, plus 2 baseball fields and one for football.
What runners say about Young Patriots Park
“There are two porta-potties near the field (@ the end of the first parking lot) and they are kept clean and stocked with TP and Sanitizer.”
Great, clean park for walking with police and fire departments adjacent to the park. There are baseball diamonds and plenty of room for soccer or a football game with friends.
Great place to walk around the pond on a blacktop sidewalk. Sometimes the Fountains are on, sometimes not. There us a huge area behind the park that you can fly a kite or whatever. It's also right next to the local fire department so you'll see the apparatuses when the bay doors are open.
This is a nice park. I watch my nephew's football practice here. There are two porta-potties near the field (@ the end of the first parking lot) and they are kept clean and stocked with TP and Sanitizer. They are NOT handicapped accessible. In fact there's a big drop from inside to the ground.
Nice park, went for Riverview summerfest. Live music and carnival! Good fun. Had a nice pond with a fountain. There are plenty of walking/ bike paths as well.
Trail conditions & character
“They even provide lights on the skating rinks when they are open.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
