Farnham-Connolly Memorial Park is a small Mass. DCR property just off Rt 95, on Neponset St in Canton. It’s the site of the former Canton Airport, and has been reclaimed into a passive recreation area. There are ~40 parking spots, it’s easy to find, and offers a lot for a small-ish (6 acre) area.
I've driven by many times. I've never pulled in to walk around. It was nice. I didn't know the history of that location was previously an airport. Plan to return with better shoes and snacks for some birdwatching! Love coming here. Many times, it's not even planned. Drop in to eat my lunch and go for a quick walk.
great place to walk your dog, go for a walk youself, with a friend, etc.! down a Long pathway and a Loop around path in the beginning - Lots of wildlife! Lots of fun!
