What runners say about Signal Hill (Canton, Massachusetts)
A nice small, set of a few loops. An easy way to kill an hour or so. The views are nice, too, and you don't have to work to hard to get to them. Just as a note, there is construction on the road to get there currently (Fall 2021), that can make the turn you need to take a pain.
Trails are great but more signage would be appreciated. Sound of traffic is incessant but the beauty of the urban retreat helps one lose focus on the interference. Water views and skyline view from top of promontory are satisfying.
Great place for hiking and dropping your kayak or canoe into the river. Be wary of bugs, bring plenty of bug spray. Seems they do not treat the area.
I come here all the time with my dog. It's a great place for a quick hike and the top has a great view.
