We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Abbotts Bridge Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Abbotts Bridge Trail
“Nice photogenic location with a small easy trail”
Love this trail.. it makes you wonder how many historical ancestors have walked this trail a long long time a go. I'm going to start bringing my boys here for their homeschool field trips for science and history projects.
Easy trail great for family and kids . Trail run along side of Chattahoochee river
Glad to see there was a short trail there that wasn't on the map. It's not marked to left of river ramp (facing the river). There is a map plate at beginning and end (half mile from 1 to 2). Enjoyed it, along river was cool (no shade in parking area). There are also picnic tables and a shelter to get out of the sun.
