Confirmed from Acton Arboretum's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful place to easily walk around. I've been a few times and while there are people there, it never seems to be crowded. Great place for a picnic (they have tables/chairs near entranceway) or to take photos. I painted a picture there for my brother-in-law as he and his (now) wife went there during COVID.
We visited the Acton Arboretum for the first time on Sunday. We were not fully prepared to explore all that this place has to offer; but everything we did experience was wonderful. The gardens are very well organized, presented and maintained.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Acton Arboretum, and I must say it was an enchanting experience. Nestled in the heart of Acton, this hidden gem is a true testament to the beauty of nature.
Wonderful kid friendly trails. Small well marked and gives a good experience. Easy. Provides many small trails maximum 1 and half mile. Or 45 minutes all done. Got to see a few birds. You can see small apple orchard near to parking. It was apple season and it was full with fruits.

Plan your run at Acton Arboretum
The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
