Neat if you are biking and need to get to the other side of Adams St. The path goes under the road. Kayaking is a different story, it is a death trap trying to get into your kayak from Adams st landing. No good way, you just have to hold your breath and go for it. My wife did not make it dry.
I’ve driven by this small park a number of times and decided to stop by and check it out this time. It’s quite small, but has decent connections to the river and trails nearby. The dirt parking lot is serviceable, and the paths are easy to follow. There’s a table near the parking lot, and not much else.
Beautiful little Park. With the Macatawa river running through it you can launch a kayak here if you're brave enough and don't mind scraping the bottom when the water is low.
Nice little park with some great trails under the overpass. There is a creek that runs through much of it. The back trails start out as mixed hardwood, move to conifer forest, and have some mixed meadows there too, great for seeing different wildlife and there are some hidden gems for photos of you have a good…
