I moved to the area a week ago. Checking out low populated trails for my old dog and I to walk. We loved this one is only minutes from our apartment!
Good spot to fish, launch canoes or kayaks, and plenty of trails with great photo spots
Lovely county park alongside the Black River. Dog friendly (on-leash). Looped walking trails through the woods take you along the river, through the woods and back to parking area. Trails can get a little muddy after a good rain, or during spring thaw. Small playground and picnic shelter.
This is a lovely park, but not in the traditional sense of the word. There is a small play structure for children at the park’s entrance along with a pavilion and picnic tables, but the main draw of the park is its nature trails.
