Confirmed from Adelaide Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Adelaide Park
“Great, quiet neighborhood park with beautiful trees, a short trail and a well maintained playground area.”
“There aren't the restrooms as mentioned before, but the playground, walking trails, play spaces are so beautiful that I would go ahead and give it the fifth star!”
Awesome park. The play area is supernice. Lots of parkour and climbing for kids. The walking trail is beautyfull and full of old growth trees. Not something to expect in a city like Federal Way. It also has a horse arena and a tennis court. Great for exploring.
Nice clean park with open trails next to a school. Good area for dog walkers has a horse pen as well even though we use it for the dogs.
The park is great friendly people with dogs walk around, Adelaide school is on the other side of the park. Also a tennis court that is fenced off. Also a dog park that has a fence around it, medium size lot has not built toys for the dogs but good enough to throw a ball around
Used to live near here and bring my Staffordshire/Rottweiler & Minature Pinscher here for 2 years and back then the park was always run down, happend to swing by a few weeks ago and it was clean and taken care of.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- Loop distance9 mi back to where you parked. Long enough for a real long run.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
