Confirmed from Agnes Creek Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly area for hiking, forest bathing, and spotting mushrooms.
What runners say about Agnes Creek Trailhead
“Short but beautiful, great for a short walk with your dog.”
“What a great forest park right off the main road where it's serene and away from the hustle and bustle!”
“Easy trail, nice woods, and enjoyed morning walk.”
There are 2 small trailheads each with their own parking area. One is a very short out and back, about 15 min total. The other is a loop, under 20 min for the whole loop. Short but beautiful, great for a short walk with your dog. No crowds.
This is a nice little quick walking loop. It is shady which was great because it was a hot day with a lot of direct sunlight. The parking lot entrance is a bit steep and rutted but once you are past that it is easy to park and walk.
Short loop that is still being reclaimed by nature but this means it's a great place to see banana slugs (I saw 5 in less than 2 hours) mushrooms, moss and lichen, and woodpeckers. Great if you've got an hour to kill and don't wanna go too far out of town.
A great place for a short hike. And upon leaving we figured out there was another spot across from there.
