Important: Some confuse this as being a hiking trail...it is not. It's part of Devils Lake State Park campground and is a boardwalk trail that takes you from the campground through some wetland and to 1st St. Very short walk and it's kinda pretty, but not a hiking trail.
1400 steps from parking spot to the end of the dock at the campground. A lovely little walk!
My favorite trail is to go for a walk, beautiful scenery, ducks,deer, birds, sunsets, Lilly pads, and flowers! It's such a beautiful and great place to take kids or a dog for a walk. There's camping when available, and the cultural center, D-river (worlds shortest river) and the beach!
