Confirmed from Alabama Walking Trail Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Well-kept park with trails, playgrounds, swings and splash pads, plus musical instruments.
What runners say about Alabama Walking Trail Park
“It is well maintained and gated so people can't come in after closing and destroy it.”
“It has beautiful views and lots of things to play on.”
A nice small park in downtown Fort Payne. The name made me think there would be plenty of trails to walk, but this didn’t seem to be the case. Still a nice park and would be great for kids.
This was an amazing find, especially for little ones, nice view of the mountain, free excercise stations, and a nice walking trail.
