Confirmed from Alameda Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is a nice park. Plenty of places to have a picnic or just take your dogs for a walk. Small disc golf course is nice too. Not very busy. Big covered jungle gym for kids and a decent amount of bathrooms along the parking.

Beautiful park clean and quite great place to have cookouts or bday partys for kids. Big playground, shaded tables with bench seats. Cute train for kids to ride around the entire park.

This is one of the nicest parks I've seen. Big play area, lots of picnic tables and pavilions - there's even a miniature train! Restrooms are so-so and could be better but there is running water in them. The park overall is clean and well-kept, we always stop here for a break or to eat lunch.

We love the park! It's beautiful has plenty of trees for shade, it has a couple canopies to sit under and a playground for the little ones that also has canopies over it. The best thing is is it's very close to the train place and they run the little trains around the track through the park!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
