Confirmed from Albert Van Zanten Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🐕 dog-walking favorite 3 mentions

“Don't let the small size confuse you the beautiful part dog friendly and as you can see watching the sunset is pretty nice too”

Lived across the street from Greenfield mid school for about 2 years. I walked my dog at the park every single night. Sometimes in the wee hours of the morning. I always felt safe. The only negative is the place is poorly lit.

Went to Greenfield middle!! This green grassy park is where we would run and do laps in P.E. Its perfect for morning walks or just to have a picnic. Theres multiple baseball fields and a track. There is also a sand bar used for volleyball but it usually is not kept. (Unless they changed but I'm not sure)

I just started going there with my service 🐕, Maya and my roommate. It is so clean and well maintained. Lots of grass and shade trees. Perfect for a summer evening

I love this place for morning walks with my dog. Sadly, when school starts (Aug 17th)the park won't open until after 3pm. Very clean and green.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
