Confirmed from Alexandria Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“Very nice park, beautiful lake and walking trail, very peaceful, clean place.”

We love this park. We spent time in our first date here, walking around the lake. I have also fished, taken senior photos, and taken the baby used to nanny here. We came her when I was a senior in high school for a field trip here as well. It is great for kids, fishing, walking, and even hiking (trails).

We parked in the 1st small lot on the left, many young ball players with parents looking for parking spots. Next time we will go straight down the hill by the lake. Smaller park but A nice place to walk around a lake. Very busy on a weekend day with many people fishing.

I love coming here. It's very peaceful and quiet.even the playground near by. I think the fishing is great. And getting to the lake isn't bad . The other great feature is the walking trail it's a combo of black top and gravel. But still packed down enough to push a stroller or pull a wagon.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
